SATURDAYS - 8:00 pm
Queens of Country is a musical and comedic tribute to the WOMEN who made their mark in country music! Part stand-up comedy, part one-woman show, and part musical journey, Saskatchewan-born Bobbi Goddard and her live band takes you back to the genre that you love to hate, or hate to love, or maybe just LOVE... because it reminds you of sitting on your Grandma’s couch, or driving on a back road, or listening to that delicious scratchy sound of a 45 and its needle. Queens of County celebrates country classics, running the gamut from Bobbie Gentry to Shania Twain, and everything in between, including songs from the reigning Queen of Country, Miss Dolly Parton! Bobbi, a local favorite, belts out songs that you can sing along to, such as “Man, I Feel Like A Woman,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” Dolly’s “9-5,” Patsy Cline’s ‘Crazy,’ and so much more! One thing’s for sure…. Bobbi will keep you laughing and have you up on your feet and dancing along to the tunes you love!
"Nov 6,2021. We just saw a show called Queens of Country with Bobbi Goddard and it was absolutely amazing. The costume changes, the live band, the comedy...loved it all. The crazy thing is that I am not even a fan of country music and I still loved the show! Rarely do you leave a dinner or a show and think damn they should really charge more for this. That is how I felt after leaving tonight. Anything under $100USD is a bargain for this show. Do yourself a favor,, stop reading this and go see it this Saturday night before it ends."
"I went to see the opening night of QUEENS OF COUNTRY - it was nothing short of amazing. Bobbi Goddard (Bobbi & The Others) took it to another level. I laughed, I sang, I smiled until my face hurt. The songs - from Dolly Parton to Tanya Tucker to Shania Twain - were beautifully and artfully well done. She did well to represent the Queens of Country music - and share a bit about the artists themselves. Buy your tickets after you buy your plane ticket to come to PV because this show is gonna sell out. Simply fantastic."
